Do you love Jesus, but life is hard and doesn't make any sense right now?

Is God not answering your prayers or coming through for you the way you thought He would? Are you experiencing a season of loneliness, waiting, heartache or confusion, with no breakthrough in sight?

There are many Bible verses about faith and trust in hard times to lean on when God doesn't come through for us the way we ask Him to, and life doesn't make any sense. Here is some biblical encouragement for the Christian woman who struggles with how to trust God and believe that He is FOR her and NOT against her, even when everything around her says the opposite.

Choosing to Stay Faithful in the Mystery

I'll never forget the day God told me: 'You'll gain clarity when you stay faithful in the mystery'. It marked my life forever. I was struggling with a chronic illness that continued to worsen each day, with no visible breakthrough on the horizon. Nothing made sense. Everything around me was the exact opposite of the promises He gave me. And that's when I realised that sometimes we just have to choose to stay faithful and keep trusting God when life doesn't make any sense, until God brings us the clarity we need in His perfect timing and His perfect way.

Download 'Breakthrough is Coming': A Spotify playlist of 59 worship songs to empower you to keep moving forward!

Since then, I've learned a thing or two about how to keep moving forward and trust God in the mystery. If everything around you is the opposite of what God promised you today...read on.

1. There's a Season for Everything

Friend, there's a season for mystery and a season for clarity. No, we won't ever fully be rid of mystery in our lives on this side of Heaven...but when you're walking through a season of confusion that feels never ending, that's just what it is - a season. And you have to remind yourself that it won't last forever.

"He knows all, does all. He changes the seasons and guides history, He raises up kings and also brings them down, He provides both intelligence and discernment, He opens up the depths, tells secrets, sees in the dark—light spills out of him!" Daniel 2: 21-22

I know when you're experiencing something painful and God doesn't give you any clear answers, it can be tempting to think it will be this way forever. But sometimes our faith can't be forged on a deeper level until we spend some time in the mystery... because faith is being sure of what we hope for, and certain of what we cannot see. Meaning our faith can only grow when things in the natural don't make sense... when everything falls apart, God doesn't come through the way we wanted Him to and all we can do is trust that He is still good.

"Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still UNSEEN." Hebrews 11:1

2. Trust That God is FOR You

When God doesn't answer our prayers the way we thought He would, it can be tempting to believe He's not actually FOR us.

We know in our head that God is good, but what happens when the circumstances around us say otherwise?

Friend, this is when the reality of God's goodness moves from your head to your heart. Because when you declare that He's good when everything around you is not, your understanding of His goodness beings to shift... and you realise He's not just good when everything is going well, He's good no matter what is happening.

Instead of lowering our theology to match our pain, we get to call our pain up to match our theology. Tell your circumstances about your God. Declare what you know to be true about His nature in your head, and it will begin to make its way from your head to your heart.

3. Make His Promises Your Lifeline

Sometimes God will stop speaking to us the way we're used to, so we'll learn to go back to what He's already said and hold onto those promises with all we've got.

God's promises need to become our lifeline when nothing in our life is making sense. Because those promises are ours, but they don't come to pass without a process... and that means we need to come into agreement with them when everything around us looks the opposite.

JOIN 'THE OVERCOMER CLUB' ON FACEBOOK: A community of FAITH-FILLED women who uplift each other, share helpful resources & inspire each other to keep moving forward through any obstacle that comes their way!

The cross had the final word. And that means all of His promises are yes, but they always require our amen - because God wants to partner with us in the process.

"For all of God's promises find their 'yes' of fulfilment in Him. And as His 'yes' and our 'amen' ascend to God, we bring Him glory!' 2 Corinthians 1:20

God wants us to persist in believing they'll come to pass, while He works out our miracle behind the scenes. We need to prophecy those promises with all our heart, mind and soul... because we're calling them forward every single time we do.

'Through faith's power they conquered kingdoms and established true justice. Their faith fastened onto their promises and pulled them into reality!' Hebrews 11:33

You may not realise it, but every promise God gives you contains both your identity and your destiny. God holds the destiny part in His hand, and you hold the identity part in yours. And that means when you come into agreement with the promises He speaks over your life, you're becoming the person you need to be to withstand those promises when they come.

So let's throw out any bitterness in our lives and take hold of the promises He's spoken over us. Make His promises your foundation...and choose to stand tall on each and every one of them! Disappointment is not the author of your story... so don't give it permission to be.

4. Remember That Breakthrough is a Process

Last summer I prayed and asked God why breakthrough wasn't happening for me immediately... But then I realised my understanding of 'breakthrough' was way off. I kept praying for a miracle moment, but God promised me FULL healing in body, soul and spirit... and healing is a process.

Even though I knew my season was shifting and healing was coming, it didn't happen immediately. And then God brought me to the story of Noah. After the storm was finally over, God's promise of dry land was probably at the forefront of Noah's mind daily. We love to read this and think, 'First the floodwaters came, then God stopped the storm and they left the ship. Everyone lived happily ever after. The end!' But if you read a bit closer, you'll see it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows while waiting for breakthrough to come and dry land to emerge:

"Then God turned his attention to Noah and all the wild animals and farm animals with him on the ship. God caused the wind to blow and the floodwaters began to go down. The underground springs were shut off, the windows of Heaven closed and the rain quit. Inch by inch the water lowered. After 150 days the worst was over.

On the seventeenth day of the seventh month, the ship landed on the Ararat mountain range. The water kept going down until the tenth month. On the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains came into view.

After forty days Noah opened the window that he had built into the ship. He sent out a raven; it flew back and forth waiting for the floodwaters to dry up. Then he sent a dove to check on the flood conditions, but it couldn’t even find a place to perch—water still covered the Earth. Noah reached out and caught it, brought it back into the ship.

He waited seven more days and sent out the dove again. It came back in the evening with a freshly picked olive leaf in its beak. Noah knew that the flood was about finished. He waited another seven days and sent the dove out a third time. This time it didn’t come back. In the six-hundred-first year of Noah’s life, on the first day of the first month, the flood had dried up. Noah opened the hatch of the ship and saw dry ground.

By the twenty-seventh day of the second month, the Earth was completely dry."
Genesis 8:1-18

From the time God stopped the storm and caused the floodwaters to lower, it took 417 days for the Earth to completely dry up. 417 DAYS. When God told me this would be my year of breakthrough, I got upset after not seeing results after a month...

Yikes. Imagine being Noah - he had this promise from God that His family would walk on dry land again and repopulate the earth... then all of a sudden the storm stops and he knows breakthrough must be on the horizon. But it took another 417 days of trusting, praying, and believing that God is who He says He is, and He will do what He says He'll do... because the floodwaters didn't dry up immediately. He had to keep stepping out in faith by sending a bird to check on the floodwater conditions, not knowing if it would bring back any evidence of breakthrough.

Can you imagine sending out a raven, and then dove after dove with nothing to show for it?! I would be so tempted to give up and stop trusting God, after stepping out in faith and seeing no evidence of the promise in return.

But Noah trusted God every single step of the way... even when it felt like the storm would never end.

So if you're starting to feel hopeless and wonder whether breakthrough is really on the horizon or not, remind yourself that breakthrough does not just happen in a moment. Real God-given breakthrough is a process over time - full of baby steps in the right direction that shape us and form us, tiny victories every day that show God is still working even when it feels like He's not, and a miracle moment that seals the deal in God's perfect timing.

It's full of days where you thought God would move a one way, and then He moves another way. Days where you thought your healing would be further along by now, or you'd be in a committed relationship preparing for marriage by this point...or things would fall into place finally, and they just haven't yet.

Every day you have to remind yourself that your breakthrough will not be one size fits all - because God is still moving on your behalf and doing what He said He'd do, in His perfect way. And just like Noah, you have to remind yourself that He is carrying you to the Promised Land... even when it feels like He's not.

Big Takeaway

Hopefully these pointers will encourage you to stay faithful and keep believing for breakthrough, even when you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. If this message resonates at all with you, go grab a 'Faithful in the Mystery' sweatshirt when we launch them into the world again - to remind yourself to keep trusting that God will make a way where there seems to be no way, even when you can't see what He's doing or where He's taking you.

It's not just a message, it's a MOVEMENT of Christ followers choosing to stay faithful and keep trusting God, even when life doesn't make any sense.

Here's what some people in our community had to say about what staying faithful in the mystery means to them:

"To not let the fear of what you see, shake the faith in what you’ve heard." "Staying faithful in the mystery is teaching me to just trust the Lord. This is bringing me closer to Him, and the closer that I draw near to Him, the more He shows me how much He loves me! And the more I want to get even closer to Him. My daily prayer is: 'Lord, when others see me, I pray that they see the image of Jesus in me.' I love John 15:1-8." "Staying in the mystery to me means waiting for the Lord's timing...He makes all things beautiful in his time..."

These sweatshirts (and hoodies and long sleeve shirts!) are no longer available - but we will be launching more soon, so stay tuned for your chance to wear the 'Faithful in the Mystery' message in your every day and join the movement!

Hands up if you're wondering how to wait on God's timing for your life! We know we're not supposed to worry and God is sovereign, but we also know that faith without works is dead. So where do we draw the line between it all? How do we go about praying the promises of God, doing our part, while still trusting GOD to bring the promise to pass?

Related: Why Does God Keep Me Waiting? For the Christian Who Struggles to Believe God is in Control

Over the past year or two I've really had to navigate the divine tension in seasons of waiting. Between putting in the work and doing my part, versus trusting God to get me where I need to go. And I'm not gonna lie, it's a constant wrestle. Especially when it feels like God's timing is taking too long.

One thing the Lord reminded me of is what happens when you push too hard in the gym. You injure yourself and get pulled out of the game! But if you want to build muscle, you can't just sit there and stare at the barbell. You have to lift the weight beyond resistance, without pushing so hard your body starts to break down. You rest in the DIVINE TENSION between the two.

I think waiting on God can be a lot like that.

The problem comes in when we try to make things happen on our own, because we're so afraid they WON'T happen in the first place. I've done this in the past (more times than I'd like to admit). And every time I did, nothing ended up happening because it was all driven out of fear instead of favour.

When we try to make something happen out of fear instead of favour, it never ends up happening.

What This Means For You:

So if you're wondering how to be patient when waiting on God's timing, I want to encourage you. When God seeds a promise inside your heart, He prepares YOU and He prepares the promise FOR you. God is working in your waiting because He's still PREPARING you. This season is CRUCIAL for where you're headed!

If you're trying to control the outcome of a promise out of fear that it won't happen or it won't be what you wanted, you're not trusting in the One who gave you the desire in the first place. He's actually really great at swinging doors wide open when the time is right. And He's kind enough to do it when all the details are fit in place that you didn't even know to pray for!

So if there's a promise in your life that hasn't been fulfilled yet, I want to encourage you to pick up that weight and PREPARE yourself for it! Develop habits that make waiting on God's timing easier, like pressing into His presence, growing your skills, serving where you're planted and surrounding yourself with people who are living in the promise you're believing for. Just don't start kicking down doors out of fear He won't fulfil His promise to you.

Yes, there is work in the waiting. But if you're striving to control the outcome, you're pushing too hard.

He's got this, and He's got you. Come share below if you believe this today!

If you're doubting God in hard times, struggling to overcome unbelief or looking for bible verses on doubt and worry, you came to the right place! Doubt is something I've wrestled with after contracting a mystery illness a few years ago that I'm just now beginning to healing from.

Related: 59 Powerful Worship Songs for Your Breakthrough Playlist How to Survive Seasons of Reconstruction: When Life Breaks You Down so God Can Build You Up 3 Essential Ways to Silence Your Storms: How to Find Peace in the Chaos of Your Life

I remember a few months ago being so overwhelmed with chronic pain, I couldn't worship my way back to the truth. I could barely even open up my mouth. 'King of my Heart' came on my Spotify playlist, and hearing the words 'You're never gonna let me down' actually made me cringe. I just couldn't say those words out loud anymore.

I looked up in that moment and said 'God, I genuinely can't declare anything because I honestly don't think I believe it. If that means I failed the test and my faith is too weak, then I failed...'

Immediately I felt a rush of love flow through me, and He whispered softly: 'RIGHT there. That's EXACTLY where I want you to be. Because I'm going to heal you whether you trust Me to or not.'

Right then, something shifted in my heart. I realised it was okay to doubt whether God was really good. That my doubting didn't change His nature - it actually brought me closer to Him in ways I never would have known if I didn't doubt in the first place.

What This Means for You

Friend, faith isn't believing God CAN break through. It's believing He WANTS to break through and restore us even more than we want Him to. And it actually takes MORE faith to keep trusting God when the mountain in front of us still won't move.

So many well-meaning people over the past year came up and told me 'Just have more faith and you'll be healed.' It was so damaging for my tender, frustrated heart to hear. Because none of those people actually understood the pain I experienced, or the confusion and shame I felt for coming to the end of my rope almost daily with it. For SO long I would smack myself in the face and say 'God is good' a million times over until I believed it. All the while thinking God's desire to heal my body was dependent on MY response.

He Loved Us First

But here's the thing: God doesn't love us because we love Him. HE loved us first. His nature never changes, and we sing His promises until we believe them so that WE will be strengthened in the waiting. NOT to please God into bringing us our miracle.

'This is love: He loved us long before we loved him. It was his love, not ours. He proved it by sending his Son to be the pleasing sacrificial offering to take away our sins.' 1 John 4:10 ✨

He is ALREADY pleased with you, whether you trust Him or not. He ordained your breakthrough before the beginning of time, and no doubting on your part could ever change that. You're just not powerful enough, friend. So whether you're singing in church or crying out to God in anger, you don't have to act like you have it all together. You don't even have to force yourself to say 'God is good' out loud. You just have to press into the doubt, and lean into the wrestle.

How to Press into the Doubt Practically

Last year when I read through the book of Habbakuk, I discovered the name Habakkuk actually means 'to wrestle and EMBRACE.' What a name. It felt like a kiss from God - a reminder that it's okay to wrestle with your doubts and question where He is in seasons of struggle. Denying your frustration is a surefire way to stay stuck in it. But when you release the pain and lay it all out before Him, He meets you where you're at and forges your faith to a level it never could've reached without the wrestle. You go from enduring the pain, to EMBRACING what God is doing in the midst of it. And that's where true freedom is found in the waiting.

'I will truly find joy in God, who saves me. He is my strength. He makes my feet like those of a deer. He makes me walk on the mountains.' Habbukuk 3:18-19 ✨

Big Takeaway

So deep breaths, friend. You can grieve AND be in joy. You can FEEL the pain of your emotions without losing hope. You can yell at God and bless His name in the same sentence. David did it...

'God, my God! Why would you abandon me now? Why do you remain distant, refusing to answer my tearful cries in the day and my desperate cries for your help in the night? I can't stop sobbing. Where are you, my God? Yet I know that you are most holy; it's indisputable. You are God-Enthroned, surrounded with songs, living among the shouts of praise of your princely people.' Psalms 22:1-3 ✨

He knew how to lean into the wrestle and POUR HIS HEART OUT before God...no matter what that looked like. And so can you. How have you managed to embrace Jesus in the midst of doubt, fear and frustration? Come share in the comment section. I'd love to hear!

Are you wondering how to overcome jealousy? Are you dealing with jealousy with friends who receive the blessing you're believing for? Are you feeling forgotten and abandoned by God, thinking, 'Did He forget the promises He made to me?'

Well you came to the right place, friend.

This is something the Lord really took me on a journey with last year. And He showed me a story in the Bible on jealousy that gave me the blueprint for how to break it over my life.

Related: Why Does God Keep Me Waiting?

I remember one day I looked up and realised that EVERYONE in my path received the exact promises I prayed for. And it felt like a joke.

I would cry out and say 'Really, God? Heyyyy! Remember me? Remember when you promised this for me, too?!'

And every time jealousy came knocking on my heart, I felt Holy Spirit put His hand on my shoulder and say 'Will you celebrate them?'

It's been a long time coming - but now I actually LOVE when people receive the blessing I'm believing for while I'm still waiting for it. And that's because I know it will break anything in me that doesn't want to celebrate them.

Why This Matters:

'Afterward, Mary arose and hurried off to...where Zechariah and Elizabeth lived. Arriving at their home, Mary entered the house and greeted Elizabeth. At the moment she heard Mary’s voice, the baby within Elizabeth’s womb jumped and kicked. And suddenly, Elizabeth was filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit! With a loud voice she prophesied with power:

“Mary! You are a woman given the highest favour and privilege above all others. For your child is destined to bring God great delight. How did I deserve such a remarkable honour to have the mother of my Lord come and visit me? The moment you came in the door and greeted me, my baby danced inside me with ecstatic joy! Great favour is upon you, for you have believed every word spoken to you from the Lord.”'

Luke 1:39-45 ✨

Guys, when Mary received her promise from the Lord to carry the Messiah she had NO proof showing in her belly yet. And still the FIRST thing she did was go celebrate Elizabeth, who was pregnant with her own promise and it SHOWED. And the more Mary celebrated Elizabeth, the more that nourished her OWN promise...when jealousy and bitterness would have poisoned it.

So who are your Elizabeth's? Go find someone in your world who's walking in what you're believing for. And instead of partnering with jealousy to tear them down or ignore them, choose to CELEBRATE with them! And if you can't find anyone, no worries. God will bring someone along eventually! He's really good at that ;)

'Those who live to bless others will have blessings heaped upon them, and the one who pours out his life to pour out blessings will be saturated with favour.' Proverbs 11:25 ✨

How have you seen this play out in your own life? Have you played the comparison game at times too? Come share!

How to Trust God Completely | Perseverance in the Bible

Do you struggle to have faith? Is trusting God in difficult times a struggle for you? You're not alone, sister. Learning to trust God completely is a constant journey. There are many examples of perseverance in the Bible, but one parable Jesus told in particular stood out to me during the first few years of my chronic illness journey:

'He replied, "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there', and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."' ✨

But can I be real for a sec? When I read this verse, it confused me like crazy. Cause when you're struggling to stay determined and have faith while you wrestle with what it means to trust God in difficult times, being told to 'have more faith' does NOT help.

And not only that - but just a few days before reading this, God whispered to my heart: 'I plan to heal you whether you trust me to or not'...so clearly God can and will move no matter what our faith looks like!

Related: How to Push Through Painful Seasons | Faith in Hard Times How to Trust God When Life Doesn't Make Sense

But then I discovered the Hebrew origin of 'little' actually translates to 'brief'. And right then, everything clicked... I realised Jesus wasn't saying it takes MUCH faith to move mountains...He was saying it takes PERSISTENT faith.

That it's not how much faith you have that matters...it's what you do with it that does.

Encouragement for You:

So if you're frustrated today, I want to remind you of this. Perseverance is a fruit of the HOLY SPIRIT. That means the enemy doesn't have it, and God is growing it in YOU. Yes it's true that when we resist the devil, he flees. But the Bible doesn't actually say he'll flee immediately. Sometimes God lets him stick around so we can discover our authority to WEAR HIM OUT with our persistence.

You have the authority to torment the enemy with your perseverance and wear him out with your persistence.

So keep knocking those lies down with the truth. He's building perseverance inside of you every step of the way, to move that mountain in front of you further than you ever thought it could go. How have you exercised perseverance this week in your own life? I'd love to hear about it!

How to Not Be Easily Offended | Find Freedom in Forgiveness

Do you struggle with how to forgive and forget? Here are some tips & Bible verses for how to stop being easily offended and trying to prove yourself to people.

'The tallest oak in the forest was once just a tough little nut that held its ground.' ✨

Friend, I want to encourage you not to run or fight to be understood. One of the greatest ways to feed our spiritual health, grow our faith and develop emotional maturity is to realise we cannot control when people mistreat us, misunderstand us or refuse to back us up...no matter how frustrating it might seem (I mean hey, welcome to humanity right?)

But here's the great thing about that: GOD will vindicate you. He sees your heart, He knows your intentions, and He's rooting for you every single step of the way. The Bible clearly tells us this:

'For you will vindicate your persecuted people and stand up for them, showing them your tender love.' Psalms 135:14

Related: How to Stop Being a People Pleaser

At the end of the day, we live in a broken world filled with trials and messy human interactions. And the problem with that is that the opportunity to be offended at people and God will ALWAYS come!

But there will only ever be ONE person in your life who can make the choice to not be offended...and that person is you.

When you face rejection, feel misunderstood, people let you down or your expectations crumble, how will you respond? Because I believe your response to offence and your choice to forgive even when it feels impossible determines the course of your destiny.

When we shift our attitude, engage where we're at, forgive our offenders and stop trying to prove ourselves and force them to understand us, we step into freedom that CATAPULTS us forward.

What Staying Free from Offence Means for You:

So don't back down when everything falls apart. If you feel misunderstood, DON'T try to prove yourself to change their minds.

I know it's not easy, and I still have to fight for it daily! Because at the end of the day, people will misunderstand you...but the fruit of your relationship with Jesus will always speak louder than words.

When we break the ceiling over our lives and let go of offence, we realise it's actually GOD'S job to vindicate us before man, and OUR job to abide.

It's that simple. So keep pressing forward and abiding in the vine. Stand your ground, refuse to run...and let GOD do what He does best ❤️

Are you looking for ways to grow your faith? Are you struggling to thrive when God makes you wait? Sometimes it's hard to remember God has a purpose for your pain, a reason for your struggle and a reward for your faithfulness. The Bible has a lot to say on this, and yet it's still easy to forget.

Several months ago I went through an intense season of wrestling with God over this topic. But then Holy Spirit prompted me to re-listen to a song by Housefires, and one of the verses hit my heart and encouraged me in a whole new way:

'My heart is an open space for You to come and have Your way I'm open, I'm open.' - Housefires✨

All of a sudden I realised those lyrics are WAY easier said than done. Because when God actually does have His way in our hearts, He pulls out the shovel and digs up what has to go...because He cares about our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health even more than we do. And that process is PAINFUL. No spiritual surgery feels great, let's be real.

Because a miracle is a moment...but healing is a process that happens over time. And more often than not, the process of developing our spiritual health can seriously hurt.

Related: How to Trust God When Life Breaks You Down | Faith Advice

The Good News About Growing Your Spiritual Health:

Even though the process is painful, allowing Him to transform your inner world will eventually transform your OUTER world. Because we will prosper as our SOUL prospers...just like the Word says.

'Beloved friend, I pray that you are prospering in every way and that you continually enjoy good health, just as your soul is prospering.' 3 John 1:2

As you can see, the Bible makes it clear that God wants us to thrive and not just survive. When God digs up our bad habits and dysfunctional behaviour patterns and replaces them with His love, we begin to experience MORE joy, MORE peace...and MORE abundance, beyond our wildest dreams.

We actually end up enjoying the blessing of life MORE fully when we allow Him to do His deep work inside of us.

Because those sin habits are NOT who we are. We are not sinners...we WERE sinners who were SAVED by grace, and now we are SAINTS. When He looks at us, He doesn't see sinners anymore - He sees who we were created to be from the beginning of time. And He's in the process of peeling off anything inside of us that isn't part of our NEW nature.

'Now, if anyone is enfolded into Christ, he has become an entirely new creation. All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new.' 2 Corinthians 5:17

So let's commit to giving God access to ALL of our hearts this year. He is kind, friend. And He wouldn't do His deep work in you if He knew you weren't ready for an upgrade in body, soul and spiritual health and abundance. His deep work isn't to punish you, but to promote you. And you can trust Him with it!

Come share if this resonates with you :) I love seeing you guys equipped, encouraged and inspired on the journey x

Are you struggling to make it through a difficult season in life? Are you wondering how to keep going and press through the pain? There are many Bible verses about faith in hard times and how to strengthen yourself in the Lord, but one in particular has stood out to me over the course of my chronic illness journey:

‘Yet they don’t ask, ‘Where is God my Creator, the one who gives us songs in the night?’ ‭‭Job‬ ‭35:10‬ ‭✨

Guys, God has songs to give us that will STRENGTHEN our faith in seasons of pain. Promises to repeat to our hearts when we can barely make it through another day.

Lately I’ve had to ask the Lord to give me a specific song and a promise to declare every time chronic pain, humiliation and bitterness try to take hold. I told Him that if He gives me a song, then every time I eat a meal and my body doubles over in pain, I’ll SING IT. Because the battle is the Lord’s...but that doesn’t mean we’re called to lay down and die in the struggle.

The battle is the Lord's, but that doesn't mean we're called to lay down and die in the struggle.

Related: 59 Powerful Worship Songs for Your Breakthrough Playlist

What This Means for You

And it's the same for you, friend. He’s given you the authority to STAND FIRM and DECLARE who He is and who YOU are in Him, while you wait for Him to bring back the victory. Songs to sing when everything inside of you wants to curl up into a ball. When all you really want to do is just to hibernate from the world until the storm blows over.

Songs to pull you up out of the pit and cause you to rise again, no matter how many times it takes.

'For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.' Micah 7:8

And a lot of times we don't even realise how these songs He places on our heart to sing are EXACTLY what our heart needs in each season. Especially if it feels like the exact OPPOSITE of what we'd rather declare out of our mouths at the time...

So what’s your song in this season? What’s the promise of hope He’s placed in your hands to fight with? Because every time you sing these promises over your life, you terrify the powers of darkness with it. And those promises and prophecies from God will become your weapon ❤️

Breakthrough is coming, friend. If you're looking for a list of worship songs to download, this free playlist will encourage you to trust God for healing, breakthrough and favour.

These praise and worship songs are sacred to me, and here's why:

The other day I shared on Instagram how I woke up with almost no faith to face the day. So I pulled out my iPhone to listen to my 'When Breakthrough Doesn't Come Yet' playlist I made last November, and suddenly found myself changing it to 'Breakthrough is Coming' out of nowhere. I looked up and said 'That's about all the faith I've got for today.'

He smiled over me and said 'We can work with that.'

Breakthrough is Coming.

Guys, we are NOT the author, perfecter or finisher of our faith...GOD is. GOD originates it, and GOD will bring it to completion. Our job is to bring Him what we have, every single day, and let HIM do what He does best with it.

'Sometimes my very best Is only my weakest yes You see strength in every movement Baby steps and short breaths Anything is progress You sustain my every moment.'

If you need more encouragement on how to worship through suffering, you can read more about that HERE: How to Worship Your Way Through the Storm.

The Playlist is Finally Here!

Since then, tons of you have asked for the playlist. So I decided to put it on Spotify for you guys, because I know it will bless you like it does me ;) The worship music on this playlist will boost your faith, spark your love for the bible and help you fix your eyes on Jesus.

God is holding you in His love, and He's carrying you through the storm every single step of the way. Don't forget to let me know if any of these songs speak to you in this season! You can grab the playlist HERE.

Love you guys forever and always,
